During his career in the U.S., Dr. Collings has conducted research on
the metallurgical, physical, and superconductive properties of metals and alloys,
chiefly those based on titanium, using the techniques of magnetic susceptibility,
low-temperature specific heat, and electrical transport property measurement, and
research on high-Tc superconductivity, using magnetization and other techniques.
