Rebutting Young-Earth Creationism

Reasons to Believe includes a good section rebutting Young-Earth Creationism.
A friend of mine named Jereth, who is a medical student in Australia, has composed and entire website dedicated to a Christian rebuttal of Young-Earth Creationism.

Intelligent Design

On January 19, 2006, Boundless Webzine, which is "a website of Focus on the Family," published an article entitled "The Darwinist's Blinders." This article provoked me to respond with a letter, for which the case Kitzmiller v. Dover and the works of Prof. Lawrence M. Krauss were excellent sources, stating my views on Intelligent Design. Focus on the Family responded by mail with a short letter dated June 6, 2006.

Physics (and other Academic matters)

I am a graduate student in the Physics Department at The Ohio State University. My adviser is Prof. Klaus Honscheid, who is a member of the BaBar collaboration. The BaBar experiment is housed at the Stanford Linear Accelerator Center (SLAC), where I worked from Aug. 2005 to Dec. 2006. I am now back in Ohio.

My Research

I have two primary tasks on the BaBar experiment.

Analyzing the decay of a B meson into one of three charged leptons (electron, muon, or tau) and the corresponding lepton neutrino.

Travel

I use the airline search engines Kayak, Side Step, Mobissimo. They search all airlines except South West. Travelocity and Orbitz are convenient for searching wide ranges of dates.

Music

I play the tuba in the University Band. Our next concert is on Nov. 15, 2007, at 8 PM in Weigel Auditorium.
