Biophysics Seminar

The biophysics seminar is a joint activity of the Department of Physics and the Biophysics graduate program of the Ohio State University. The seminar takes place

Wednesday, 2:30pm-3:30pm

The plenary talks of the seminar will take place in the Robert Smith Seminar Room (1080) in the new Physics Research Building. However, there are a few dates where this room is not available, so check the table below for remarks on the location.

The seminar serves as an opportunity to learn about the most exciting biophysics research elsewhere as well as a forum for discussion among the biophysics researchers and students at OSU. To this end, the seminar features external speakers, internal speakers, and student presentations. If you want to know more about the seminar, want to be included in the email list with seminar announcements, or are interested in meeting with a specific speaker, please contact Ralf Bundschuh.

Graduate students in the biophysics program for whom this seminar is the required class Physics 801 may find additional information at the web site http://cannoli.mps.ohio-state.edu/bph795. In the winter and spring quarter the student presentations will be held in smaller, self-organized groups to give every student a chance to present and to enable a more open discussion.
